Joining in on the search for Shawn Christy,Thursday, were his own mother and father.
A state police helicopter was seen flying over a wooded area of Butler Township Thursday as U.S. Marshals searched the woods from the ground.
They also searched an apartment building and garage on Main Street in Conyingham. The Christy's say their son is on the run as an act of rebellion against the legal system, but don’t believe he would harm anyone.
The search began for Christy after he threatened to shoot President Trump on social media.
As of Thursday night the search continued in the Hazleton area.
Marshals say he should be considered armed an dangerous.
