Ashland police are trying to identify a man who allegedly had inappropriate contact with a 5 year old girl.
According to the Republican Herald, Patrolman Philip Schlegel said the incident occurred in the borough between noon and 1:30 p.m. on July 20 at Higher-Up’s Park, located at 18th and Pine streets, and was reported to authorities earlier this week.
The man is described as being in his 30s or 40s, standing approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with an average build, brown hair, a mustache and buck teeth. He was wearing glasses, a tan T-shirt, tan cargo pants and dark sneakers and was seen carrying a Canon camera that had a black lanyard with a yellow stripe.
Anyone with information that may lead to identifying the man responsible for this incident is asked to call Ashland police at 570-875-2600.
