A group of fast moving storms with high winds and heavy rain caused some power outages, late Tuesday afternoon, in parts of Schuylkill County.
According to Skook News, PPL Utilities reported almost 700 homes were without power in the Blythe Township/New Philadelphia area.
Smaller outages were also reported in Wayne Township and the Lavelle/Gordon areas of Butler Township.
Power was expected to be restored Tuesday night for these locations. Anyone still experiencing power issues should contact PPL.
