The Pennsylvania State will host a Citizens' Police Academy in Schuylkill County.
According to Skook News, the program involves approximately 20 hours of instruction taught in two-hour segments at the Penn State Agricultural Cooperative Extension, 1202 Ag Center Drive, Pottsville.
Class size is limited to allow greater interaction between students and instructors. Citizens are selected from interested applicants.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply and be a resident of Pennsylvania.
The program is scheduled to begin August 28, 2018 and end October 30, 2018.
Deadline for application submission is August 14.
