Charges held for court...

A Shenandoah man arrested for allegedly almost causing the death of a woman by injecting her with heroin earlier this year had charges against him held for court during a preliminary hearing Thursday.

According to the Republican Herald, 32 year old Jason N. Bredbenner will now have to appear in Schuylkill County Court to answer to offenses that include attempted murder by drug delivery.

The arresting officer, Shenandoah police Patrolman Travis Bowman, testified that he was called to the Bredbenner home about 8:40 p.m. May 18 for a report of a heroin overdose and, inside the home, found a woman, later identified as Suzy Ulicny, lying unconscious on a couch.

Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker ordered Bredbenner to be returned to Schuylkill County Prison where he is being held on $100,000 straight cash bail set at the time of his arrest.
