A man was taken into custody after an incident in Mahanoy City late Monday afternoon.
According to Skook News, Mahanoy City Police responded to a domestic incident with an armed subject.
The unidentified male fled in a vehicle but was stopped at Main and Center Streets by incoming backup units from outside communities and was taken into custody.
As of late Monday, Mahanoy City Police were still investigating the incident with charges pending.
