The crowning of the queen took place as the 34th annual Schuylkill County Fair kicked off Monday.
18 year old Emily Witmier, of Pottsville was crowned queen, 13 year old Haley Rymarkiewicz, of Pottsville, was named the fair princess and Miss Congeniality and 10 year old Ella Grace Frantz, of Pottsville, was named the fair little miss.
Today is Kids’ Day at the fair and includes ID Me, a child identification program, the Jell-O eating contest, and pedal tractor pulls.
The fair is open to the public at 11 a.m.
