A boil water advisory is in effect for some Schuylkill County Municipal Authority customers. 

According to the Republican Herald, residents on Woodglen Road, Edgewood Road, Maple Avenue, Eastwood Lane, Yorktowne Road, High Park Manor and York Farm Road are under the advisory. 

SCMA executive director Patrick M. Caulfield said the boil advisory was put in place after a water main break on Woodglen Road. 

Those affected by either the water main break or service disruption should boil their water for a minimum of one minute before drinking.
