The Pottsville Bureau of Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole a vehicle and items from Wal-Mart, then abandoned the vehicle.
According to authorities, 28 year old Matthew Sleva, of Saint Clair, stole a green 1997 Jeep Wrangler from Purcell’s Service Station, in Pottsville and was identified after Loss Prevention officers from WalMart provided investigators with footage of an individual parking the stolen vehicle on the lot, then entering the store.
The abandoned vehicle was later recovered, by police, at the Wolf Creek reservoir, in St. Clair, with stolen items from WalMart located inside.
An arrest warrant has since been obtained and anyone with information as to the current location of Sleva is asked to call Pottsville Bureau of Police Detective Kirk Becker at 570-622-1234 Ext 332.
