Great Pottsville Cruise...
The annual Pottsville Cruise takes place on Saturday, and residents are again being reminded that temporary parking and traffic restrictions will be in effect.
Beginning at 8 a.m. there will be no parking restrictions in effect on Centre Street, from Mauch Chunk Street to Laurel Boulevard; Market Street from Third Street to Progress Avenue; West Norwegian Street from Centre to Second Street; Mahantongo Street, from Centre Street to Second streets; in the Arch Street parking lot; and in the parking lot located at the corner of Centre and Race streets.
Also, beginning at 1 p.m., driving restrictions will be in effect on North Centre Street, from Howard Avenue to Laurel Boulevard; West Market Street from Second Street to Progress Avenue; and Mahantongo Street, from Second Street to Centre Street.
These restrictions will be in place until approximately 9 p.m..
