Drug take back day...
About 20 pounds of prescription drugs were dropped off Saturday at the Schuylkill County Courthouse.
The Schuylkill County Sheriff’s Department had the drug take back event which allows residents to drop off unused or expired medications, so that they may be properly disposed of.
The Schuylkill County courthouse accepts expired or unused medications Monday through Friday. And residents are reminded that they must notify security before dropping off the drugs.
The annual countywide drug take back event will be held Sept. 12.
