Marian Catholic will be dismissing early today. According to Skook News, school officials said the early dismissal is due to the heat index advisory predicted for today, so students will dismiss at 11:45am.
Meanwhile, the students of John S. Clarke Elementary, in Pottsville, will have the remainder of the week off due to mold.
Elementary School parents received a letter Monday from Superintendent Jeffrey Zwiebel informing them that mold tests came back positive for some areas of the building.
An update will be provided Friday after more testing is completed.
