The Crimson Tide Foundation is seeking corporate sponsorships for programs to benefit students of the Pottsville Area School District and is hoping a state tax credit incentive will enable more businesses to become involved.
According to the Republican Herald, the foundation will be renewing its yearly application in November for the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program, or EITC.
In the foundation’s case, it hopes to use money generated to upgrade the district’s publications program.
This will be the third year the foundation is applying to become an approved Educational Improvement Organization, to be an EITC participant and recipient of donated funds.
