A collapsing building, in Girardville, has closed a street and moved the location of some bus stops.
On Sunday morning, authorities closed a section of 2nd Street as a precaution to a building that is beginning to collapse. 2nd Street from East Ogden Street to B Street is the section that is completely closed.
The road closure also changes bus stops in the area for the North Schuylkill School District. The District announced Sunday that all bus stops, high school and elementary, on 2nd Street will be moved to 2nd and Main Street until further notice.
The building posing the threat is located on the corner of Ogden and 2nd Streets.
No other information is available on when the building will be torn down or when the road will reopen.
