Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man who tried to rob a bank in Berks County on Tuesday.
The attempted holdup happened around 11 a.m. at the Fulton Bank at 100 South Third Street in Hamburg.
Police said the would-be robber passed a note to a teller but never showed a weapon. He then fled the bank on foot and empty-handed, heading west on Pine Street.
He is described as a medium-skinned man with black-rimmed eye glasses. At the time of the holdup, he was wearing a dark/gray camouflage jacket and black beanie hat.
