A brutal attack on a woman has a man facing assault charges in Schuylkill County. According to authorities, 30 year old Andrew Clare went after a 38-year-old woman after a fight at a home Sunday in Girardville.
State police said the man threw her in a pool and held her head under water, then pulled her out by her throat and proceeded to throw her in again.
Clare was taken into custody and will now face charges in Schuylkill County Court.
