A Hazleton man is facing numerous gun charges in Luzerne County.
According to Hazleton Police, 25 year old Christopher Irizarry was taken into custody following reports of shots fired near 18th and Vine streets in the city around 1 p.m.
Investigating officers recovered evidence of shots fired into a vehicle as well as an occupied building.
Authorities say Irizarry was found to be in possession of a pistol which matched the one used in the shooting.
He was locked up and will be arraigned on multiple felony firearm charges.
