While looking for funds to replace the aging Lawton Street Bridge, in Saint Clair, the borough might have to spend some money to repair a section of it.
The borough was notified by McMahon Associates of Priority 1 maintenance items are needed on the Bridge based on their routing inspection on July 12.
The problem area is a section of the east wall under the bridge that has loose and displaced stones, along with gaps in the mortar.
Weather permitting; work may begin late this week.
Roland Price Jr., the borough secretary, was not sure how much the repairs would cost, but said borough workers would do the job.
