A McAdoo woman has been sentenced to state prison in the shooting death of her husband, last year.
70 year old Jane E. Schreiner pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter last month after admitting to having shot her husband of 19 years, Kenneth S. Schreiner, to death in the kitchen of their home on Aug. 4, 2016.
Schuylkill County Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin sentenced Jane E. Schreiner to two to eight years in state prison.
With credit for the 13 months she has served, Schreiner will be eligible for parole in about a year.
