Police are looking for a man that was involved in an assault and pursuit Monday evening.
State Police from Schuylkill Haven and Hamburg responded to the Landingville Boat Dock, in South Manheim Twp. around 11:30pm, for an active domestic dispute between 26 year old Edwin Montero-Cartagena, of Pottsville, and his girlfriend, who was struck, strangled and stabbed on the top of the head with an unknown sharp object.
As Troopers from Hamburg arrived Montero-Cartagena fled the scene driving through Palo Alto Borough and at the end of Bacon Street, he drove onto a dirt road, got the vehicle stuck and fled the scene on foot.
An arrest warrant for Montero-Cartagena has been issued.
