36 year old Franklin Moyer remains in prison after a judge ruled that prosecutors had produced enough evidence to support charges he kidnapped and assaulted his mother, in July, in their Schuylkill Haven home.
The Republican Herald reports that Schuylkill Haven borough police charged Moyer with dragging his mother, Janet Moyer, into their residence on July 12, assaulted her and held her there for two hours.
Magisterial District Judge James R. Ferrier ordered Moyer returned to prison, where he is being held in lieu of $100,000 straight cash bail.
