State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the death of an elderly man, in Landingville.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene at 223 Meadow Drive Thursday at 2:41 p.m., where the elderly man was found deceased.
Police said the cause of death remains under investigation but could have resulted from drowning or a medical condition the man may have suffered.
Authorities said the incident occurred in the yard of the victim’s property where a small pond is located.
The name of the victim is not being released until his family has been notified.
