DEP will be working to remove chemicals from an apartment building in Schuylkill County, after a reported ammonia leak.
Emergency personnel were called to 633 Chestnut Street, in Hegins, Sunday evening.
According to authorities, a resident found an old drum of chemicals in the basement of the building that used to house a garment manufacturer.
Four people who live in the apartment building were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Nearby residents were evacuated from their homes, but were later allowed to return.
The Red Cross is assisting the prople who live in the apartment, until authorities deem it safe for them to return.
