State Rep. Neal P. Goodman and state Sen. David G. Argall announced that three Schuylkill County projects will receive $666,155 in state grants.
The Schuylkill County Municipal Authority will recieve $425,000 to be used to bring water to Mahanoy Business Park.
The Mahanoy Township Authority will receive $151,155 and will its grant to replace four large valves controlling the water distribution system that feeds Mahanoy City.
$90,000 will go to Minersville to help pay for new equipment at the Fourth Street Playground and for improvements to the borough’s Little League field.
