A Pottsville woman is headed to Schuylkill County Court after waiving her right to a preliminary hearing, Tuesday, on charges resulting from a fatal two-vehicle crash in March 2017 in North Manheim Township.
According to the Republican Herald, 32 year old Lauren F. Bechtel was charged by State police at Schuylkill Haven after she crashed into the back of a vehicle being driven by 57 year old Mark Naftzinger, of New Ringgold.
State police alleged Bechtel was driving 82 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Magisterial District Judge James R. Ferrier bound over the charges for court and allowed Bechtel to remain free on $10,000 unsecured bail pending further court proceedings.
