A Schuylkill County man has been charged after he pushed a woman out of her vehicle and stole it before being apprehended by police after a pursuit into Berks County later that night.
The incident happened on September 11, but charges were only recently filed.
According to authorities, the incident happened around 9 p.m. in the parking lot of a Giant grocery store in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County when 42 year old William Flail, of Minersville, pushed the 41-year-old victim out of her vehicle and fled in it.
Flail was involved in a police pursuit later that night and was taken into custody by state police on Route 61 in Hamburg, Berks County.
