A woman has been charged with DUI after a crash that killed a Pedestrian in Wayne Township on Tuesday.
According to Skook News, State Police said 68 year old Jay Spotts was struck by a vehicle around 2:00pm, driven by 44 year old Patricia Hellinger, of Pine Grove, while he was walking along Sweet Arrow Lake Road in Wayne Township near Friedensburg.
Hellinger told Police she did not see Spotts walking along the road. Spotts was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hellinger and a passenger in the car were not injured.
Police say Hellinger will be charged with Driving a Vehicle while Under the Influence of Alcohol/Controlled Substance.
