With the impending winter weather expected this weekend, officials are asking residents to remember that if there’s a fire hydrant near your home, keep it cleared.
Hydrants should be kept accessible to firefighters by clearing snow and ice with a three foot perimeter around, along with a path from the hydrant to the street.
