Two individuals, both wanted on outstanding warrants, were arrested on Sunday during a traffic stop.
According to State Police at Frackville, 32 year old Leslie Anne Tapia, of Ashland and 41 year old Joaquin Gonzalez, of Reading were involved in the traffic stop that took place at the intersection of Route 924 and Pioneer Road in Shenandoah.
Tapia was wanted on resisting arrest charges from the Schuylkill County District Attorney's office and Gonzalez was wanted by the Reading Police for aggravated assault charges.
Tapia was taken into custody and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison while Gonzalez was turned over to the Berks County Sheriff's office.
