4 Charged...

Four people face drug charges after a traffic stop uncovered more than 250 bags of heroin/fentanyl and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle over the weekend.

According to the Republican Herald, 27 year old Kyle Carter, of Tamaqua; 23 year old Nevin Sterling, of New Ringgold; 31 year old Justin McArdle, of Tamaqua, and 33 year old Anthony Napolitano, of Lansford, were all charged in the incident.

Carter, who lied about his name, was wanted in Bucks County and Carbon County for previous drug charges, police said. He was remanded to the Carbon County Correctional Facility in Nesquehoning.

Napolitano had a non-extraditable warrant from Florida and is on parole with the state of Pennsylvania, police said. He will also face a parole violation.

Napolitano, Sterling and McArdle were processed and released, and authorities say charges will be filed in district court.
