A man wanted by Ashland police on assault charges stemming from an incident earlier this month was taken into custody and jailed.
According to the Republican Herald, Police Chief Gerard Daley said a warrant was filed for 23 year old Justin R. Braunstein, who has no known address and is listed as homeless, in connection with a Jan. 11 incident involving a crash in the area of 1413 Centre St.
Braunstein was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Christina E. Hale, Frackville, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison after he was unable to post $25,000 straight cash bail.
