One man was flown to a trauma center Wednesday afternoon after he allegedly jumped off the roof of a home in New Philadelphia, while trying to avoid police taking him into custody on an outstanding warrant.
According to the Republican Herald, 39 year old Christopher Pate was found lying on the side porch of a house with injuries he suffered after jumping off the roof in an attempt to flee police.
Pate was taken into custody and flown to a regional trauma center for treatment.
Saint Clair police and state police troopers from the Frackville station searched the home and also took two women and a man into custody, all listed as wanted persons on various warrants.
