30 year old Nevin P. Ebener, of Orwigsburg, who police allege shot his son earlier this month with a handgun, is headed to Schuylkill County Court after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday.
Orwigsburg police allege Ebener shot his 8-year-old son with a .45-caliber handgun on Jan. 2 at his residence.
Magisterial District Judge James R. Ferrier bound over those charges for court after Ebener waived his right to the hearing, allowing him to remain free on $75,000 percentage bail pending further court proceedings.
