An 89-year-old man died in a fire Thursday in Wayne Township.
According to the Republican Herald, Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Deb Detweiler pronounced the man dead at 6:40 p.m.
His name was not released pending notification of next of kin.
The fire at 1881 Fair Road, near Schuylkill Haven, had fire companies from Schuylkill and Berks counties responding.
Summit Station Fire Chief Brad Zimmerman said the cause of the fire hasn’t yet been determined.
