The identity of the victim in a deadly shooting that happened Wednesday evening in Northumberland County has been released.
Authorities say 17 year old Sabian D. Ebersole, of Coal Township, was charged by Coal Township Detective Jeffrey Brennan with criminal homicide, for allegedly shooting David Rivera Jr., who turned 21 on Jan. 17.
Investigators say the shooting occurred after a botched drug deal for 12 grams of marijuana near the 900 block of West Pine Street Wednesday evening.
Ebersole was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III, who set bail at $1 million cash.
Ebersole was taken to Cambria County Jail after failure to post bail.
