Two Hazleton women are facing charges for allegedly stealing packages from porches in West Hazleton.
Authorities say officers received numerous tips and leads regarding the identity of the actors, dubbed the “porch pirates,” during the course of an investigation.
The two were identified as 23 year old Luz Marie Claudio-Ortiz and 23 year old Martina Baez-Rodriguez, both of Hazleton.
The pair was taken into custody late Wednesday evening.
West Hazleton Police say they are still conducting an active investigation into reports of other stolen packages.
