Federal authorities have recaptured the man who escaped on Dec. 22, 2017, from the Federal Correctional Institution/Schuylkill.
51 year old Harvey Shaner was arrested Tuesday in Kempton, Berks County.
U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane said Shaner, who was serving a 51-month prison term for fraud-related charges, must now appear in U.S. District Court in Allentown for further legal proceedings.
