State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an attempted robbery at a store in Kings Plaza near Minersville.
According to Skook News, around 5:40pm on Tuesday, a male walked into the AC Boardwalk and approached the counter, holding a knife.
The male told a female employee he "wanted all the money" including money in the back room of the store. When the female employee at the store told him she didn't have any money and all the other money was locked in a safe, the male fled the store.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6'3" tall, with a thin build, wearing a navy hooded sweatshirt, gloves, and something black over his face.
State Police are still investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call State Police at Schuylkill Haven at 570-754-4600.
