A police incident in Palo Alto closed Bacon Street for several hours, in the borough, Tuesday morning.
According to State Police at Schuylkill Haven, a call came in for an unknown number of people held against their will at knifepoint in the 500 Block of West Bacon Street.
Multiple units from around Schuylkill County responded and secured the scene, all victims were later secured uninjured and two suspects 45 year old John H. Fry, of Palo Alto, and 24 year old Casey Alan Azbell, of Schuylkill Haven, were charged after the incident at the Fry home.
Both men were arraigned later Tuesday before Magisterial District Judge David A. Plachko, Port Carbon, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison.
The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
Bacon Street in the borough was closed to all traffic during the incident. The road reopened around 9:00am.
