Drivers are officially paying more to use the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Tolls have increased by 6% across the board whether you pay with cash, EZ Pass, or Toll by Plate, which means the most common toll will rise from $1.30 to $1.40 for EZ Pass and $2.10 to $2.30 for cash.
Officials say the toll hike with support Pennsylvania's transportation system as well as maintain and improve the 552-mile turnpike.
The Turnpike Commission has increased tolls now for 11-consecutive years.
