A community is coming together for the family of Issac Krammes, the 4 year old boy that died from injuries he suffered in a crash in Saint Clair on Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred about 12:15 p.m. at the intersection of Route 61 and Terry Rich Boulevard, the entrance to the Wal-Mart plaza.
Saint Clair police said the investigation indicates that 36 year old Franklin Krammes, of Pottsville, was driving a Nissan minivan and attempted to make a left turn from Route 61 south to enter the Wal-Mart plaza when the vehicle was struck on the passenger’s side by a northbound Ford F-150 truck driven by Maryann Rhody, of Schuylkill Haven.
Krammes and a front seat passenger in his vehicle, 54 year old Brenda Covach, of Saint Clair, along with Rhody were taken to a Pottsville hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Issac Krammes, of New Philadelphia, who was a back seat passenger in the Krammes vehicle, was flown from the scene by helicopter to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, where he later died.
