An Ashland man was taken into custody, for a stabbing, over the weekend.
43 year old Harold McGurl was identified as the person who attacked the unidentified victim in a Saturday morning stabbing that took place around 1:00am between the 1200-1400 blocks of Spruce Street, in Ashland.
The victim was reported to have suffered severe lacerations.
McGurl was taken into custody later Saturday after being seen in the borough not long after the incident.
He was arraigned and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on Attempted Homicide Charges.
