Contrary to another published report, Shawn Christy is still awaiting transfer back to Pennsylvania to answer to federal charges against him.
According to the Republican Herald, the 26-year-old McAdoo man accused of making social media threats against President Donald Trump, the Northampton County District Attorney and police remains at the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City.
Christy was sent to the Oklahoma prison upon his release from Ohio, where he was apprehended Sept. 21 after he led law enforcement on a roughly three-month manhunt.
It’s unclear when his transfer back to Pennsylvania will occur.
