44 year old Jamie A. Gantt, of Tremont, was sentenced Wednesday for sex crimes against a teenage girl.
According to the Republican Herald, State police at Schuylkill Haven charged Gantt with indecently assaulting, and thereby corrupting the morals of, the girl on Dec. 16, 2017, in Tremont.
First Assistant District Attorney Michael J. Stine said the girl was 16 years old at the time of the incident.
Schuylkill County Judge Jacqueline L. Russell sentenced Gantt to serve 60 days to 23 months in prison, plus an additional three years on probation.
In addition, Russell imposed lifetime Megan’s Law sanctions on Gantt once he leaves prison, ruling he is a Tier 3 sex offender under state law.
