State police at Schuylkill Haven have charged 18 year old Ivy M. Heinly, formerly of Orwigsburg, with making a bomb threat at the Blue Mountain High School.
Police allege Heinly made the threat on Oct. 2, leaving a hand written message in a girl’s bathroom.
The Oct. 2 threat is the third one the school has received this year, the others having been made in February and September.
Heinly was arraigned and committed to Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post bail. Blue Mountain Superintendent David Helsel said the district is also taking disciplinary action against Heinly, but those proceedings are confidential.
