A water boil advisory was issued, Tuesday, for customers of the Minersville Municipal Water Authority, after a water main break in the borough caused a loss of positive water pressure.
The Water Authority issued the water boil advisory until further notice and until authorities take samples to ensure that the water is safe to drink.
People with severely compromised immune systems, infants, and some elderly may be at increased risk of infection as inadequately treated water may contain disease-causing organisms.
