Shawn Christy made his second federal court appearance in Ohio, Monday afternoon, and agreed to return to Pennsylvania, where he will face charges against him.
The 26-year-old McAdoo man was apprehended Sept. 21, in Ohio, after a 95-day manhunt that crossed six state lines.
He was charged this summer with threatening President Donald Trump and others on social media and is wanted for failure to appear in Schuylkill County Court for another case.
Christy’s court-appointed attorney said he waived his right to both a detention and identity hearing.
According to the Republican Herald, it’s unclear when he will be returned to Pennsylvania to appear in federal court, where he has the right to another hearing to argue for his release.
He remains in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
