A Pine Grove woman was jailed after being arrested and charged with assaulting a Pine Grove police officer, earlier this week.
According to the Republican Herald, police were called to the home of 22 year old Taree’an Lei Tuttle for the report of a disturbance. After police arrived, Tuttle gained possession of Patrolman Mark Vandermartin’s flashlight, as he attempted to stop an altercation, and struck him in the head with it.
She was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Christina E. Hale, Frackville, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $15,000 straight cash bail.
