District Attorney Christine Holman's office and the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force conducted a multi-municipality drug raid Wednesday, in central-southern Schuylkill County with the help from the Pennsylvania State Police.
Nine arrests were made as part of an investigation into drug trafficking into Schuylkill County.
While serving the warrants, contraband was discovered in a home at 64 Main Street, Mount Carbon that resulted in the confiscation of 466 glassine packets containing heroin with a suspected street value of about $4,000; 18 baggies containing methamphetamine with a street value of about $1,400; $1,414 in cash; and numerous items used in the packaging and distribution of narcotics.
Those arrested are currently locked up in Schuylkill County Prison.
