What started as a standard traffic stop turned into a drug bust early Saturday morning in Hazleton.
According to reports, police observed a vehicle driving erratically while traveling south on Wyoming Street around 3:15 Saturday morning.
Upon conducting a traffic stop, police noticed a bag of suspected cocaine in plain view inside the vehicle on the driver's lap.
The driver was identified as Jonathan Torres from New Jersey.
He, along with a passenger, identified as Julio Pujols were taken into custody.
Torres is currently being held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
